3 steps to climate positivity
1. Calculation
If we can measure it, we can change it.
That’s why we calculate the total carbon footprint of the Summit, following GHG Protocol guidance.
2. Reduction
Summit organisers encouraged their partners and attendees to limit their carbon footprint as much as possible by promoting sustainable communication, booth construction and gadgets.
3. Offset
After the Summit, organisers will offset the entire CO2 emission by creating, together with Orange Polska, a forest in the buffer zone around the Biebrza National Park – the “Women in Tech Forest for Planet”

Orange Polska provides the offset of the entire Summit emissions. The everlasting “Women in Tech Forest for Planet” is created in the buffer zone of the Biebrza National Park. These trees will never be cut down for industrial purposes

Brief history
We believe in women and their power to change the world. We believe in the value of science and technology as the tools allowing us to know, understand and create amazing solutions to the most urgent problems of today. For the first time in history women can really do anything!
