Fixit S.A. is a renowned provider of electronic device repair services. The company focuses on sustainable repair practices and extending product lifecycles.

The client approached Plan Be Eco with the challenge of calculating the total carbon footprint of their enterprise and assessing emissions related to the repair process of electronic devices such as computer accessories (15-20 products). The company wanted to precisely measure its environmental impact.

4. Scope of cooperation

Fixit needed support in calculating the carbon footprint in Scope 1, 2, 3, preparing a report compliant with the GHG Protocol, preparing a decarbonization strategy, and calculating the carbon footprint reduction of 15-20 products thanks to the client’s refurbishment service.

5. Results of the work

Thanks to the analysis performed by Plan Be Eco, Fixit S.A. gained a complete picture of emissions related to electronic device repair. The total carbon footprint of Fixit S.A. for the 2022 reporting period was 495 Mg CO₂e. Plan Be Eco also prepared a report on emission reductions through the repair of electronic products.
